Neujahr 2022 The Hand Project

The DB Christmas party also had to take place digitally on December 7th, 2021. 14 employees in the home office, 14 hand prostheses, 1 moderator on the screen and despite the difficult and depressing situation in December 2021 we were able to get 14 more helping hands and then later donate in Uganda.

Due to the current corona situation, the Müller-BBM Christmas party was held online on December 16, 2021. We accompanied the teams through the event with 2 moderators and were able to put together more hands for Uganda and donate them.

Even as a small team, X-FAB Dresden really wanted to assemble and donate a hand prosthesis. Our self-facility variant is perfect for this constellation. We sent the components of the hand prosthesis with all the tools, assembly instructions and a small presentation to Dresden and X-FAB was able to assemble this “helping hand” in a self-organized team building event in a relaxed manner, without any time pressure or bearing the travel costs.

A good solution for very small teams who want to support this project.

A "helping hand" from X-Fab has also come to Ghana and will be distributed there as well.

On November 10th, 2021, a department of Bayer AG in Berlin invited us to assemble 7 "Helping Hands" with 30 employees. So, off to Berlin and with an English moderation, we had a great event with all participants.

The 7 hands from Bayer AG were taken to Ghana in winter 2021 and will be distributed over the summer of 2022.

A very special story and experience for us is the donation from the Schmidt group, who were with us on October 20th, 2021 for a quad tour. Since we are always asked what else we do... 😊 Of course we talked about our heart project "Helping Hands". This project touched and impressed the group so much that we received a donation of 100 €, we donated the difference ourselves and another hand was able to help a person in Ghana or Uganda to make life a little more bearable. Thanks a lot for this!

On October 14th, 2021 we were invited to Frankfurt, to the company PwC Management Consulting. The employees should be surprised with our social event "Helping Hands". We took 8 hand prostheses to Frankfurt and assembled them with 30 participants in a very pleasant atmosphere.


These 8 hands have also been sent to Uganda and have already been given away.

The Boston Consulting Group from Munich assembled 4 hand prostheses with 16 people on September 23, 2021. Due to the ongoing Corona situation, BCG decided to hold an online event, which was a lot of fun for everyone.

These 4 hands were sent to Uganda in spring 2022 and will be given away there in the course of 2022.

As part of a company event, the company LSH from Sarstedt organized a very special trainee event. The trainees were supposed to put together 4 helping hands in 4 teams and thus get to know and support the social commitment of the training company. The 4 hands were then sent back to us with the painted bags and team pictures.


The 4 hands from Sarstedt were taken to Ghana in spring 2022 and given away there.

For online events with Helping Hands we can offer solutions throughout Germany in which the participants work in small teams - from the home office or in the office Helping Hands together.
We can also connect participants to teams who are either completely or partly at home in their own home office or in the office. Each participant is a member of a Helping Hands team and also has a very specific task. During the Corona crisis, all planned and booked Helping Hands team building events canceled and postponed indefinitely or next year. For the people in Zimbabwe or Uganda who are also affected by the corona pandemic and who urgently need the prosthetic hands wait, an extra disaster!

Even if team events are now possible again due to a number of loosening, the organization of Helping Hands Benefit events is difficult due to the necessary distance and hygiene measures... We are therefore working flat out on concepts and solutions on how we can start again, taking hygienic safety measures into account Assemble Helping Hands and can donate. A solution becomes a virtual event format be what with home office and remote work jobs functions. We use a corresponding online platform. Each team member assembles their “own” helping hand and our moderator accompanies you live the whole time! This allows us a online team building offer, which intensively involves all employees. togetherness and the sense of togetherness is strengthened, emotions and feeling something meaningful doing also connects and motivates. The digital remote events is a cool and social team building that focuses on the feeling of togetherness and success for a good cause!

The BKK VBU in Berlin assembled 4 Helping Hands on August 22, 2019. Today a handful was donated and customized to this young man in Uganda. The radiant smile says it all - and we're happy too!

We recently received the first pictures from Bangalore (India), where our Helping Hands are being distributed free of charge to the people there. On December 6th, 2019, pmx GmbH in Stuttgart donated 4 Helping Hands, now 1 Helping Hands has found a young man in Bangalore and can help - this is exactly what direct help on site for the people there looks like!

We would like to thank all our customers this year for the trust they have placed in us and for the many great and eventful events that we were able to hold for you.
Every event was special, just like every team and every person behind it was special. Next year we will implement even more (new) ideas in the area of social & green events and look forward to numerous exciting events in Berlin and Brandenburg, but also throughout Germany.

The company Desay SV Automotive Europe and its international team were looking for a social purpose for their Christmas party. The Christmas party at pmx GmbH in Stuttgart was all about social aid for landmine victims. For us, the event at pmx GmbH was one of the very few where the glossy statements about team spirit and working atmosphere were 100% noticeable in reality. have 17 employees 4 Helping Hands assembled and donated, who will travel to India or Uganda for Fitting Day next year. As part of an international management meeting, 3M Deutschland GmbH decided to support the Helping Hands project. The team building with 60 participants from all over Europe was very emotional for all participants and was also a very special event for us. 12 Helping Hands were assembled and donated as part of the Change Management Leadership Training. Today we have 24 finished hands brought to Lüneburg from the last events in order to send them from there on the long journey to America and then to the Fitting Days around the world. We are happy that 24 needy people with one or two missing hands are receiving practical help and that their lives are getting a little easier as a result.

At the Christmas party activeMind in Berlin we came with 3 kits for the "Helping Hands".
The team had decided to be socially involved again this year and 3 Helping Hands to donate. The festively illuminated Ku-Damm and a beautifully decorated office created a Christmas atmosphere.
After two and a half hours, the "Helping Hands" were ready and started the long journey to India in January 2019. There they were given to 3 needy people as part of a "fitting day". for free distributed. A big thank you to activeMind for supporting us with this project!
